HAND WASHING

The Personal Touch

The vehicle is  sprayed off with a pressure washer to remove any loose dirt. From there a chemical is applied to the grill area and mirrors to soften any bugs. Another chemical is used on the first two feet of the entire vehicle to soften any road tar.
Tires and fender wells are scrubbed clean. The grill area is cleaned with a paint safe scrubber on paint and a bug sponge on more robust surfaces. Wheels are treated and cleaned (including barrels when possible).
Truck beds are cleaned with an all purpose cleaner and a brush. Heavier chemicals are often used on stained bed liners. Under the hood is pressure washed to remove any dust or leaves and a rubber dressing is applied.
All glass is scrubbed and the wiper blades are cleaned. The vehicle is coated with a foam cannon and hand washed with a sponge that is safe for any finish. The final wash includes a silica wax with similar performance to an automatic car wash wax.
Finally the vehicle is rinsed off, then dried with a combination of a squeegee, leaf blower, and a drying towel.
