COLOR CORRECTION
(BUFFING)

Paint to it's Former Glory

Color correction is essentially using compounds to smooth out the clear coat layer of your vehicle's paint. It removes light scratches, swirl marks, holograms, hard water spots, and bug "shadows".

I use three stages of polishing compounds.

  1. A heavy cutting agent with appropriate pad for heavy imperfections.

  2. A medium cutting/polishing agent to further refine imperfections.

  3. A final light polishing compound to bring the finish to a mirror shine.

The process is completed with a synthetic wax to add a layer of protection to the bare clear coat finish.

Color correction is always a visual improvement to your finish but there are limitations. If you can hook a fingernail in the scratch, odds are it's not going away but can be minimized.

If there's actual damage to the paint below the clear coat then color correction will not help.

Pricing for Color Correction

  • $35 per panel (this evens out across the entire vehicle)

  • $50 per panel if wet sanding is needed

  • Single panels are priced as quoted in person
